1. The Eagle has very extra ordinary feet
•
Below its toe there is a thick and rough skin so :
It can snatch slippery prey
The most slippery fish from the water can be caught without being loose
Very slippery snake/ Eel can be caught without being loose
•
Every toe of the eagle is equipped with claw of 2 inch (5cm) length so
It can wreck the heart of its prey
Its claws can kill adult kangaroo and catch a prey in the size of a monkey
•
Its back claw can stab like a bayonet and its other claws like iron hook so every prey caught will be very difficult to escape.
•
Eagle’s claws has a system of grabbing and locking so the eagle can perching safely on a tree branch even when it is sleeping.2. The Eagle has very extra ordinary opportunities in its life
•
Because it can fly up high so it can see wider and more prey below
•
Because it has sharp eyes so it can see clearly its prey from far distances
•
Because it has wings that can fly in high speed so in a few moments it can snatch its prey.
So the Eagle has extra ordinary opportunities to catch its preys. 3. The Eagle uses its feet to take the available opportunities
•
The eagle will move very fast when there is the opportunity to catch its prey
•
After that the eagle will hold on firmly to its prey to avoid losing what it has catch.
4. The lesson we can learn is do not waste the opportunity that GOD has given to us
•
Life is full of opportunities
a) Life is an opportunity
Opportunity to receive forgiveness and to go to heaven when we die.
Opportunity to repent when we fall into sin
Opportunity to learn
Opportunity to do kindness so we will receive reward and crown in heaven
Opportunity to do great things in GOD
Opportunity to be Cell Group Leader
b) Even in pressured condition there is an opportunity we can take, example
In crisis lies great opportunity for us to know JESUS CHRIST better.
In time of sickness lies the opportunity to experience the miracle of GOD
In times of trial lies the opportunity to be more persistent and to be more mature (James 1: 2-4)
1 Cor 16:9, because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.
c) Even in persecution there is opportunity to do good
d) If we live in sin, but GOD has not punished us, it is an opportunity to repent ( 2 Peter 3 : 15) Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.
e) What opportunities GOD is giving to you? Please share!!!
•
If we waste the opportunity from GOD it may not come a second time
a) If the eagle does not move as fast as possible when there is a prey, then the prey may hid and cannot be found anymore.
b) Esau looked down on his birth right given by GOD and finally he could not get it back again (Hebrew 12:16-17). See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind, though he sought the blessing with tears.
c) Is there any opportunity from GOD that you waste?
d) If there is, try to chase it right away while the opportunity is there!!!
•
If the opportunity from GOD is being responded well it will bring great blessing
a) The eagle moves with very high speed (320km/hour) to catch the prey it sees, then the eagle will hold tightly so the prey caught will not lost so the eagle will get a lot of food in its life
b) The blind man did not waste the opportunity to receive healing when LORD JESUS passed by before him ( Mat 20:30-34) . Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" 31The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" Jesus stopped and called them. "What do you want me to do for you?" he asked. "Lord," they answered, "we want our sight." 34Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.
c) Elisha responded immediately the calling of GOD so finally Elisha could be a prophet used extra ordinarily by GOD ( 1 Kings 19 : 20-21) . Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. "Let me kiss my father and mother good-by," he said, "and then I will come with you." "Go back," Elijah replied. "What have I done to you?" So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his attendant

If the opportunity has not risen we have to look for it or create the opportunity
a) The eagle needs to fly very high to search for the opportunity to find its prey
b) The 4 men looked for the opportunity to bring the lame man to LORD JESUS so the lame man received healing and salvation from LORD JESUS.
c) If the opportunity has not come into our life, then we also have to search for it or to create the opportunity. Example the Business Fair held by our Church
Search and create the opportunity and catch and fight for it seriously all the opportunity GOD has given us so you will receive great blessing in your life
